All sessions are 60 minutes in length unless other arrangements are made by client and therapist
60 minute sessions are $150 per session
Payment is collected at the beginning of each session by cash, checks made out to Allison Pichardo, or credit card.
Balanced Life Therapy has a cancellation policy of 48 hours. If a session needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, it must be done via email, call or voicemail, or text message 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. If less than 48 hours notice is given for a cancellation or a reschedule, the full fee for the missed or rescheduled session will be charged.
Video Chat Sessions
In addition to in-person therapy sessions, I provide some therapy sessions via video-chat. These sessions are available to clients in California. I use a video chat software called VSee which is free to clients. For video chat sessions, clients must have a webcam and high speed internet. Suitability for video chat sessions must also be determined on a case by case basis. Some issues and therapy modalities, particularly couples therapy, are not ideal for video chat.
Some clients choose video chat therapy because they live outside of the local area or have not found a local therapist that they like. Also, some clients find it more convenient and comfortable when sessions can be done from their home or office. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or interest in this service.
Balanced Life Therapy does not accept insurance. Balanced Life Therapy does provide clients with a monthly super bill or invoice with details of the services provided which can be submitted to insurance companies for potential reimbursement. It is the client's responsibility to contact their insurance company in order to determine if any of Balanced Life Therapy services are eligible for reimbursement under their plan.
